September 5, 2008, Newsletter Issue #204: Enhance your performance

Tip of the Week

1. Get a good nightīs sleep.
2. Sleep in an accomodation as close to the testing arena as possible, in order that you wonīt have travel worries on top of test stress.
3. Make a check list of things to bring the night before. Donīt forget to include the following:
extra pens/pencils, erasers, a watch, and a picture ID.
4. Food and Drink: Some long tests have a lunch break. Chocolate, water and caffeinated beverages are good. However, see number 5 before you partake in any beverage...
5. Use the restroom before the test. Some arenas will not allow anyone to leave the room until they have completed and turned in the test.
6. If you have spent days or weeks studying for the test and are not relying on the cram & jam method, then it is good to spend the evening before the test simply relaxing. No amount of last minute cramming is going to prepare you for what you donīt already know anyway. So, relax, take deep breaths and donīt stress.
