December 28, 2007, Newsletter Issue #168: Interviews - Parents

Tip of the Week

Admissions officers donīt like having your parents in the room with you any better than you do. Most will tell parents to wait in the waiting room. Avoid the problem. Ask your parents to go somewhere else . You will appear more mature and the interviewing officer will appreciate your thoughtfulness. If your parents are adamant about wanting to accompany you to your interview, donīt sign up for an interview.
