The essay is a very important part of the application for good universities. It is also much more time consuming than anything else in the application process.
1. Write the outline as soon as possible.
2. Try several approaches. Write several essays - they might roll into one or two or they might be sent to different schools.
3. Consult others, have professors help edit your work.
